Where I Turn To Get Money Now

When you’re broke, you’re normally pretty stressed out.  High stress levels can lead to very bad decisions, and mistakes that you’re going to regret for a long time.  Fortunately, there are a few things that you can do to get money now that will not leave you with any serious, long lasting problems.  I’ve been pretty much broke for my entire life, and in this post I want to share with you what I do when I need to get cash fast without a loan.

Payday loans are a reliable way to get fast cash, but if they can be avoided you’ll be much better in the long run.  Their high rates and short terms leave a lot of people in debt.  There’s a chance you might still need a loan after you’ve done everything discussed in this post, but at least it will be for a heck of a lot less.

The first thing that I do is see if there is anything laying around my house that I can sell fast.  Depending on how quickly I need money, I’ll either sell stuff at the pawn shop or on Craigslist.  The pawn shop is great because you can get money in a matter of minutes.  Craigslist takes longer and requires more work, but the payout will be much more.

Should selling stuff not work out, there are a lot of different odd jobs that you can do for a quick buck.  In this situation, I’ll turn to my circle of friends.  I explain my situation to them, and see if there is anything that I can do for them.  This generally results in a few babysitting jobs that will get me the money that I need, and I don’t have to pay it back.  Don’t stop at just babysitting.  Landscaping, house cleaning, and cooking meals are other options.

Making money quickly requires creativity and resourcefulness.  The methods discussed above are just the tip of the iceberg.  Use what you’re good at to make a quick buck.
